    Alligator Alley Not Yet

    Dave D. and Jon S. and I went to the ally yesterday. While we usually get 50 per person, we caught 1per person in 3 hours. Dave did bring in a 2.5 to 3lb LM. I wouldn't again until at least Oct15, if temps drop. Water temp there 86°.

    Ned bombing the ponds

    Caught 18 bass and 2 Mayan this morning. All on purple Ned bomb with light green tail.

    Pre-Hurricane gets them biting.

    Last two weeks , the pond fishing has been terrible. Getting only 1 or two each morning. Today , with impending hurricane, I caught 8 bass.

    Drbill3 gets personal best

    Thanks to captain George, I caught a 9.4lb, 25 inch bass in the canal between Stone and Bolder on a blue 5 inch baby brush hog.

    Killing it

    15 bass today between 3 and 430pm. Mostly wacky, but also chaterbait and silver/ black plug. largest 2.2lbs.

    Big Bait, Big Fish

    Good morning on the ponds today. Caught 9 bass. Largest 4.5,2.7,2.2 lbs. Dark green seemed to be the color, both for swim bait and wacky worm. No action on white swim bait or orange wacky.

    Ponds are heating up

    8 bass on 3/16 and 6 today all dark green wacky largest only 1.7lbs. Hopefully the surface action will pick up.

    Good fishing on a warm day

    Caught 16 bass this morning. Most on natural colored swim bait. The largest 1.5 lbs. Wind into my face seemed to be best end of the pond. Also caught 1 large Myan cichlid.
